Magni 565 is the only two-layer, chrome-free, zinc-rich inorganic coating approved to ASTM A490 for use on high-strength structural bolts. This coating passed all performance criteria tests (coating thickness, coating adhesion, paintability, rotational capacity, salt spray exposure and cyclic exposure). The most significant is the nil risk of internal hydrogen embrittlement (IHE) and environmental hydrogen embrittlement (EHE).
