Magni 105 is a chrome-free, waterborne coating engineered specifically for brake discs and drums. Composed primarily of zinc and aluminum, and a hybrid resin system, Magni 105 provides exceptional corrosion resistance.
Unlike other waterborne zinc-rich coating systems, Magni 105 is stable during shipping, storage and the application process. Magni 105 offers a premium metallic appearance and frictional output similar to an uncoated braking surface. Therefore, it can be applied to braking surfaces without concern of spalling or galling early in the braking cycle.
• Applied via spray or dip-spin application methods
• Can be applied in thin layers, providing cost-effectiveness without sacrificing durability
• Cured film provides a high level of sacrificial corrosion protection and is an excellent choice when environmental damage is expected
